The Art and Science of Love Gottman Workshops
If you want to improve your relationship but you’re not quite sure about weekly couples therapy, a Couples Workshop is a great alternative.
Based on years of research and practice, Gottman Couples Workshops introduce communication strategies you can use immediately, while giving you the opportunity to practice these new strategies with a skilled therapist.
You’ll receive specific techniques for improving your communication and understanding, for learning how to navigate arguments or disagreements fairly, and for recognizing the patterns that can be destructive in your relationship. You’ll also be able to identify your strengths and highlight what you’re doing well, both individually and as a couple.

What is the Art and Science of Love Workshop?
The benefit of attending a Gottman couples workshop with me, a licensed couples therapist with 30 years of experience, is that I can walk you through the exercises if you get stuck and provide feedback on what you’re doing well. Sometimes, I will even provide the words for you to say, so that you are always moving forward during the workshop and making sure it connects to your specific situation and relationship.
Couples workshops are psychoeducational and not therapy, meaning that you learn directly from the research-backed workshop materials and practice exercises together as a couple, with me as your guide. The workshop is intensive but a shorter timeframe than traditional couples therapy.
Currently, all Gottman marriage workshops are being held online.

You can choose to attend these online couples workshops in one of two ways:
Option 1
Review the Art and Science of Love workshop materials together as a couple (on your own) and then attend five private, online couples workshop sessions with me over a period of five weeks. The three of us will review the material, you’ll have the opportunity to practice the Gottman workshop strategies and receive feedback from me, and I can answer any questions you have about the online marriage seminar materials.
Investment:
$149 for access to the Art and Science of Love online couples workshop materials from Gottman Institute + five weekly one hour feedback sessions with me at the cost of $875 (that is $175/session) This is an educational program and is not the same as therapy. This process will not include an assessment of you as a couple.
-Optional box set mailed to you for additional $79 (includes 2 workbooks, a repair checklist, an Aftermath of the Fight booklet, and 7 card decks - Love maps, Opportunity, Open- ended questions, Ritual of connections, and 3 Salsa decks - mild, medium and hot) These materials have to be ordered through the Gottman Institute.
Option 2 (Dates TBD)—-THIS option is only being offered directly through The Gottman Institute master trainers at this time. I am not currently offering this service but you can sign up for the next workshop by going to their website.
A weekend relationship workshop for couples, where other couples are also online or in person and learning along with you, but you also get a chance to practice the strategies privately as a couple and then return to the group. You will also have the opportunity to get private, personalized support from the Gottman Master Trainers during your practice times.
